Eileen Chong

Hi there, I’m Eileen! I am a big believer in listening with empathy, respect and curiosity. We can have different perspectives and positions on issues and still be Singaporeans who care deeply about our home. Diversity in viewpoints makes policymaking more robust, which benefits all Singaporeans.

When not in Parliament or on the ground in Tampines, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my rescue dog Henri. I also enjoy the occasional visit to the arcade (am a Pearl Fishery fan!) and catching up with friends over mahjong.

Through our work at the Youth Wing, we hope to inspire more Singaporean youths to stay engaged in civic discourse and speak up on issues that are close to their hearts. We should not just wait to inherit the Singapore of tomorrow – we can shape the Singapore of today!
